Advanced Asana
For experienced students who are interested in inversions, arm balances, backbends, etc. Explore creative sequencing, take time to workshop difficult shapes, laugh and enjoy a super physical practice! Asana experience required.
Offered as either a Masterclass or Weekend Workshop:
Masterclass: 2.5 hour Advanced Vinyasa class with extra time to wash, rinse ,and repeat the shapes we are practicing.
Weekend Workshop: 4 classes offered
1. Unlocking the hips and shoulders for binds and bends. Lots of floor & complementary shapes as well as counter actions to ease and quiet.
2. The joy of back bends (which is hilarious because are they ever fun?). You either love them and don’t understand why others don’t or you hate them and choose to go to the bathroom when they show up. It’s usually a structural issue and we need options and communication.
3. Arm Balances: prep, strengthen, lengthen. How to begin, how to share, how to layer and how to back away and put something else in its place.
4. Inversions: headstands, forearm balances, handstands, shoulder stands, and their counter parts. If you want them you try them. This is all about being upside down. -

Wall Flow
Masterclass or Weekend Workshop
Wall Flow was created by Gillian St.Clair as a way to share her home practice. Many students had asked how to create the feeling of having the teacher present when practicing alone. "The wall keeps you honest. It’s very unforgiving, straight up and down. Walls hold things up, why not you?"
We use the walls, floors, and various props to hold and align postures, for longevity in postures and mind, proper alignment, more comfort and creativity.
